In the Kitchen with Style’N: Fish Tacos + Red Cabbage Mango Slaw

One of my favorite things about being a Model Well Fed is acting as the food contributor to the fashion + lifestyle site Style’N. I don’t know if it was the bright colors of the style season (a la Peter Pilotto) or the fact that Michael Kors and his colleagues have decided 2014 is the year of the midriff, but this menu is outstanding in both color + healthfulness. Mix up a pitcher of micheladas or simply crack open a corona (like we did!) and allow your senses to savors compliments of south of the border. Head to Style’N for the recipe and more pics.

The broiler...totally an underused kitchen tool...makes the cooking process super speedy. A (charcoal!) grill makes for an even more flavorful fish. Just marinate the mahi overnight if you go that route.
